Hello!
I'm honestly not sure what I should put in this spot, so I was contemplating just gathering a bunch of these little identity badge things, and that's exactly what I'll do.
Identity badge things, you ask? Buttons (88x31), banners, blinkies, stamps. There are choices, so here goes the process of elimination: I have no person nostalgic connection to any of these. Blinkies annoy me when they are all in one spot - too much eye strain, even for the sake of nostalgia for vintage web. Buttons belong to the ~neocities asthetic~, so we could have some of those. The tiny text banners aren't visually appealing enough for me - the banners I remember are LJ era things that I am not sure I want to revive - even when I was on LJ, I wasn't sure whether I understood the profile banner traditions, really. I really like stamps.
Now as much as I've seen stamps around on other neocities pages as well as on old-school forums, they are rooted in DeviantArt, which, though I have been aware of the site, I was never really a part of. I could limit myself to stamps made for neocities, or make all my own, but that seems to defeat the purpose of not having to fill out this page on my own.
But then I discovered Honeycomb Stamps. For Blake's 7 reasons I have developed a keen affection for hexagons, so these are perfect!
Note: The below stamps/buttons are attributed to their creators where requested. Some things were made by me with images that require attribution, these are linked as well. If the thing links back to this website, it was made by me with images for which no attribution is necessary.
Among these buttons/stamps made by me, there may be copyrighted images for specific interests/things, such as the Minecraft logo: these are used here in a fair use capacity.
If there's no link, the whole button/stamp was found free to use without attribution on the web.
Stuff made by me in this section is free for personal use and free to edit for personal use, but PLEASE host your own images. An attribution link would be nice but isn't compulsory. NO commercial use. No NFTs/AIs.
